I agree.

After the first month of college I have always said that I liked college better than school.

When I had my 1st job after college I then said that work is better than both.

Now that I am a mom I prefer it to all of them how ever I've only been a mom for about 2 1/2 years so I guess that could change, lol.

This is a great idea however can you imagine how many times you'd have to wash the dress if you are wearing it every day. 5 days of work wear, Saturday for grocery shopping and Sunday for church. Other than that it is very intriguing!

Okay - so I want to update this posting...I said I'd seen a lot of internet ads for Tooth Whitening lately - I clicked on one earlier this morning and I just clicked on another and I was absolutely amazed that both testimonials are from women from my particular city and that both seem to have the exact same teeth in their head! Really, what are the odds. The average person might not pick up on this but it was more than obvious to me that Karen Frederickson and Brenda White had the same teeth with the exact same tooth color....I think not. Readers out there - do not believe everything you see, read, or hear!

No one should be made to feel as if their opinion doesn't matter as much as another. While I do miss your thoughts of the day I completely support your idea that we shouldn't feel as if we have to be "friends" on Facebook with people who in "real life" wouldn't be privy to such personal inner thoughts.

Play time? With 3 kids, I do a lot of kid play! The weather has warmed up nicely and we will be playing outside this afternoon. The only think that's holding me back is my ever growing tummy during my 4th pregnancy! LOL

I have had many jobs -- most of them deal with either restaurant or sales -- in the end, it was customer service whether I was selling food or industrial wire and cable. While I enjoyed all of my jobs, I think that they job of being Momma is the best job! I love being able to stay at home, do craft projects, cook and entertain with/for my children. I only get paid in hugs and kisses, but I think that is priceless!

Music is hugely important. Since working in a record store in the late '80s, my tastes have turned more towards classical and jazz, but I too connect with 80s music, and occasionally something newer. The girls seem to love orchestral soundtracks to adventure films (Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Kung Fu Panda), so those are often in heavy rotation too.

When I'm reading it's got to be instrumental, but when I'm organizing or otherwise "doing," rock or opera is great.

Mahler, Vaughan Williams, Police, Coltrane, Steely Dan, Branford Marsalis, Brubeck, Pearl Jam, Springsteen, Chopin, Genesis...

Lately my music choices have been dictated by the children! LOL On the bright side, my oldest daughter and I love (now don't laugh at me) John Denver and Barry Manilow. But if I have my choice, it's usually country or 80's. I also LOVE anything Billy Joel and Meatloaf. Just imagine me and the kids dancing around to "Bat Out of Hell"! LOL
